Wm Patrick Cranley
Managing Director |
|
Patrick Cranley is responsible for ensuring that AsiaMedia teams have the resources they need to deliver for their clients. An MBA with more than a decade of experience with a Fortune 500 financial services company, Patrick oversees the business operations of the company; at the same time, he is an accomplished writer, photographer and creative director and contributes on several client teams. A frequent public speaker on business and culture, Patrick has appeared on the BBC, CBC, CNN and CCTV, among others, and has several credits as a voice artist and scriptwriter for AsiaMedia clients. Patrick was chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai in 2000 and currently chairs the AmCham Media Committee.

Tina Kanagaratnam

Tina Kanagaratnam, an award-winning writer and editor, ensures the quality of AsiaMedia’s written creative product. She also leads client account teams related to the hospitality, fine dining, arts and lifestyle industries. Her writing has appeared in dozens of publications in China and abroad, including Shanghai Daily, The Financial Times, The Washington Post, Hemispheres, Departures, and Destinations. Before beginning her writing career, Tina practiced marketing and account management at Citibank in Singapore. She holds an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University and a B.A. cum laude from American University in International Relations and Economics.

Betty Chan
General Manager |
Betty Chan, AsiaMedia’s General Manager , has more than a decade of corporate communications experience, both on the agency and client sides of the business. Before joining AsiaMedia, Betty was Senior Account Manager at GolinHarris, a large multinational public relations company, in Shanghai. Previously, she held positions of progressive responsibility at Jardine Matheson Group in Hong Kong, where she mastered the disciplines of strategy development, brand management, media relations, event direction and account management. Betty holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Hong Kong, as well as the Advanced Diploma in Visual Communications (Graphic Design) from Raffles Design Institute.

Elaine Wang

Elaine Wang is responsible for program planning and strategy implementation for clients across a broad range of industries. An experienced public relations professional, Elaine has a sophisticated understanding of how to market to Chinese audiences. Elaine was previously an editor at Shanghai Media Group Broadband, where she developed an expansive network of contacts in Chinese media circles. At several agencies in the WPP and InterPublic groups, Elaine was a member of teams that won several Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA) awards.

Shirley Huang
Associate Account Manager |
As an Associate Account Manager with AsiaMedia Shanghai, Shirley Huang serves as a close connection between our clients and the Chinese media. A journalism graduate from Shanghai International Studies University, Shirley has polished her natural facility with words to a high degree of professionalism. Previously, Shirley covered the fashion beat and served as News Editor for www.91such.com, an online lifestyle magazine, and global affairs for the Xin Min Weekly. Shirley is an active member of the online food community in China, and helped organize the Shanghai International Arts Festival. |

Feng Lei
Graphic Designer |
Feng Lei, Graphic Designer at AsiaMedia Shanghai, has a deep understanding of how visual communication impacts brand perceptions. A graduate of the renowned Hangzhou Institute of Art, Feng Lei has experience in many aspects of design, from print layout to logo design, typography to web applications. She has designed half a dozen magazines from the ground up, producing integrated looks that embrace layout conventions, typography, treatment of photographs and graphics, and cover design. Having studied at the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota, Feng Lei speaks fluent English and Chinese and is able to communicate her visual ideas clearly to client staff.

Ye Beidi
Administrative Manager |
As Administrative Manager, Ye Beidi, manages AsiaMedia’s back office operations, including administrative operations, vendor relationships, financial reporting and physical plant management. Beidi is a great communicator and “people person” with a knack for getting things done. She previously held administrative management positions at several international companies in Shanghai, including Global Sourcing and Siemssen and Co. Beidi holds a degree in primary education from East China Normal University and is qualified as an Enterprise Legal Consultant. She has extended her training by taking courses in public relations and administrative management at Huadong University and Fudan University.
